Oracle opatch

opatch lsinventory -detail:


export ORACLE_BASE=/app/oracle
export ORACLE_HOME=/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1
export PATH=/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin
export ORACLE_HOSTNAME=dbtest.msk.ru
export PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch:$ORACLE_HOME/bin


1. Check the OPatch already installed or not

cd $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch

$opatch -lsinventory




This is command will show existing patch

Then Export the following environmet file

$ export ORACLE_HOME=/PROD10gR2/app/oracle
$ export PATH=$PATH:$ORACLE_HOME/OPatch:$ORACLE_HOME/bin
$ export OBJECT_MODE=32_64


$ cd patch/

Extract the Following OPatch.
p5246372_10203_LINUX.zip
p5965763_10203_LINUX.zip

5246372
5965763

Then Go to patch Directory and apply the Opatch.
$ cd 5965763/


$ opatch apply
